Matthew 26:14 – 25
Judas betrayed Jesus for thirty piece of silver – the price of a slave. Is that how much Jesus is worth to him? This words apply not only to Judas but to us as well. Have we betrayed him or would we betray him? Whenever I choose to lie, to steal, to kill, to falsely accuse, to fornicate, to despair or to go against the will of God, I betray the Lord. Judas betrayed the Lord for thirty pieces of silver, what do we betray the Lord for? For pleasure? For career? For prestige? For wealth? For what? How much is Jesus worth to us?

Even when we disregard the Lord and betray him for a pot of pottage or seconds of pleasure and convenience, He considers us to be of great worth enough to give his life for us. For Jesus, we are worth everything even his life, because He loves us.
Let us Pray
Dear God, You always see beyond my masks of fear, of pride, of shame, of pain. Even when I see no worth in me, you gave away your son to recover me. Help me to see that I am more than I can ever dream of becoming. Help me to see me through Your eyes.
Give me the heart of Your son that I may never stop loving You.
